Heeltastic? Fantastic!
Every girl wants to have pretty feet, right? Sometimes, you just don’t have time for a pedicure before throwing on a pair of sandals and heading out for the night. Living in the desert, I rarely have shoes on. I love to be barefoot, which means my feet get dry and gross – especially my heels. Rather than spend the time and money on pedicures every week, I found a really cheap alternative…Heeltastic.
Yes, the name is ridiculous, but this stuff works. It comes in a stick that you rub on dry, cracked heels to re-nourish them and repair the disgusting, dry skin so you’re feet can look pretty for the day. When I notice my feet are looking dry and feel rough, I rub it on in the morning, throw a pair of socks on and go about my day. Within a couple of hours, my feet look good enough to run out for the evening in cute shoes!
Does Heeltastic replace pedicures? No way, but you can’t expect a $10 product to do the job a trained manicurist can. Does it last as long as a pedicure? Again, no. It’s a quick fix for an evening or a weekend. It takes no more time to apply than lotion and works a lot better on severely dry skin. It has a strong eucalyptus scent that I don’t mind, but some people may not like.
Amazon.com lists Heeltastic at $10.29, but you can find it for a few dollars less in any Walgreens, CVS or Wal-Mart. It’s a great way to fix your feet for a day or until you can make time to go in for an expert pedicure!

I got this at Christmastime at overstock.com – 2 bottles for about $14. It smells a little medicinal, maybe it’s Eucalyptus or TeaTree, but my husband always says “mmm, something smells good” when he walks into the bedroom after I’ve put it on!
I did NOT need to read this! I’ve been tempted by this far too many times to count, but have managed to resist because I wasn’t sure how well it would work – GAH! (Mind you, my heels could definitely use it!)
i’ve been wondering about this! thanks for the review.
I love my foot creme, but when I run out I may try this!
