I have been eyeing one of the Soda Stream Home Soda Makers for months now, and recently I was lucky enough to acquire one.
I AM NOW OBSESSED WITH MAKING MY OWN SODA.
I have bought all of the available flavors and oh no, the two bottles that came with it weren’t enough, I had to go buy four more. I’m making flavored waters, and every color and flavor of soda you can imagine, even diet cherry cola! The Soda Stream flavors contain NO high fructose corn syrup or artificial ingredients and are lower in calories than name brands. One SodaStream carbonator makes 60 or 110 liters, equivalent to 170 or 310 aluminum cans. I take my lunch to work pretty much everyday, and I was always going by the quick stop to get a can of this or a bottle of that, spending about fifteen dollars a week on drinks. Now, I simply make my soda at the beginning of the week, put it in the fridge and grab one and go every day. The bottles each hold a liter of whatever flavor you desire, and the level of carbonation is totally up to you. I’ve found that the bottles stay fizzy for several days with refrigeration. Another bonus is you are not lugging cases or those bulky two-liter bottles in and out of your house, up the stairs, or filling up your trash and recycling bins. It looks good,is compact, and needs no plugging in or wires. It’s perfect for those with limited space, or if you live in an apartment or are traveling. Mine will be going along in the motor home on our next trip, giving us valuable space where normally we would store drinks. And the money you save is nice too!
It works with tap water, uses it’s own carbonator and there are over 30 flavors to suit every taste. The carbonators are interchangeable and can be recycled easily at your local Soda Stream dealer.

I tried one of these things in Bed Bath & Beyond and it is amazing! I can’t buy one otherwise it is all I’ll drink. But oh how I want one.
