The fact that these products exist make me feel slightly less trashy.
It’s good to know I’m not the only woman in the world walking around with my bra straps showing half the time. Sometimes it’s the fault of a bad bra, sometimes it’s the fault of a good bra gone bad, and sometimes it’s just a sleeveless top cut a teeny bit too narrow for the standard width of your average bra.
Whatever the reason for flaunting your bra straps on accident, I’m thrilled to have learned about a solution that does not involve me spending my summers in a strapless bra. (Because let’s face it – strapless is not a friend to breasts that have a) nursed babies or b) been around for more than 23 years.)
Hollywood Hook-Up Converting Clip
Brought to you by the same people who mastered Hollywood Fashion Tape, the Hook-Up Converting Clip transforms any regular bra into a racerback. Sure, you can buy a racerback or convertible bra – but decent bras are expensive and this is a much more economical way to get more wear out of the bras you already have.
As an added bonus – they give you more lift and support. Read: cleavage.
The Hollywood Hook-Up Converting Clip is only $11.00 at Queen Bee Girls.
The downside of the Hook-Up Clip is that it’s not adjustable. I think that would create a stronger hold – but I also have little deflated water balloons where some women have breasts. If you have a larger chests or bra straps that are already a little short, you might need a solution with a little more flexibility.
The Braza Magic Clip is similar to a mini extra bra strap. You basically loop it around your bra straps and clip it shut. The nice thing is that it’s adjustable with about 3″ of length to play with. The downside of this style is that it can cause puckering in the back because there’s nothing in place to make it lie flat against your back.
If you aren’t wearing anything too sheer or clingy and are just looking for some help in keeping your straps in place – especially if you have a larger chest – than the Braza Magic Clip might be a more comfortable option for you.
The Braza Magic Clip is avialable for only $5.25 from HerRoom.
Because I do not have much in the way of size to worry about and I want to avoid the “what is that under your shirt?” conversation as much as possible, I’m more likely to use the Hollywood Hook-Up Converter Clip.

@Monique, I find it works really well. There is instructions with two methods on how to get the Strap Perfect on, and the first method didn’t work for me, but the second method was very easy. The first time I think I took ten minutes trying to get the straps right, and every time after that it has been as simple as putting on the bra.
