Sinful Colors Nail Enamel
I had long abandoned sub-par drugstore nail polish in favor of the trendy, saturated colors OPI (for my toes) and the classic, delicate sheers of Essie (for my fingers). Add in Sephora by OPI, and I had all I needed. Except I was quite judicious with my choices because each bottle is in the $8.00+ range, which is a bargain considering the ease with which they go on, how long they last, both on my nails and in the bottle (all reasons why I buy them).
And then one day I was in the mood to try a color that was a really radical change, but I didn’t want to spend the money on my usual brands. I was in Walgreens and saw the Sinful Colors display and decided to take a chance. At less than $2 a bottle, how could I lose?
I was thrilled to discover that much of what I love about the premium brands is echoed in this formula. The colors are vibrant and true and they go on fairly easily, which is important to me because I am lousy with a nail color brush (not exaggerating here). The range of colors available at my store are very similar to the selection of OPI hues that I find out there – no sheers that I could find.
The one drawback (and this could simply be my perception) is that I don’t feel like they dry quite as quickly as the OPI and Essie. When I do my toes, I make sure to do them in the morning or early afternoon so they are good and dry by bedtime or I risk the possibility of my sheets imprinting on my nails. I don’t worry about that with the others. There are always tradeoffs, right?
I recommend these polishes if you are on a tight budget or, like me, don’t want to lay out the cash for a premium brand when you are unsure about the color.
Good to know: Sinful Colors nail enamel is toluene, formaldehyde and DBP free.

I also love OPI nail polishes, especially the new shatter series by them but I just find them too expensive to pay for sometimes. Maybe you could just treat yourself to a mani/pedi by a professional, just once in a while instead!
I love getting pedicures, but I confine it to no more than once a month. It’s too expensive otherwise.
